Every time I boot my laptop, an HP Pavilion dv8220ea (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HP_Pavilion_DV8220EA) I get the text below which I've taken from /var/log/syslog:

I doubt these are actually causing problems. These messages started appearing because of some new sanity checks. They'll still be in dmesg, but they wont clutter your screen. I'd seriously check into a BIOS update though. |

Changed back to 'Confirmed' clearly this is not fixed as several people (me at least) are still reporting this problem with the current kernel. |
