Bug Description

[Solution ]

The complete recipe based on 5.19 is here https://github.com/thesofproject/linux/wiki/ES8336-support

Hope that 6.0 mainline will work ...

[Original bug report ]

the intel sound card is not detected and only "dummy output" is available

I've tested on kernel 5.15 but it s the same on default 5.11 kernel

Also tried without success :

- Booted the 5.4
- added snd_intel_dspcfg.dsp_driver=1 boot param

Seems an hardware enablement issue, while it would be nice to fix it's not something the desktop team can commit to work on at this point so I'm tagging it rls-ff-notfixing

There is no analogue codec found (according to the log in the #1), maybe your machine has a soundwire bus analogue codec? Plesae upload dmesg.txt (sudo dmesg > dmesg.txt)

Please remove "snd_intel_dspcfg.dsp_driver=2" or "snd_intel_dspcfg.dsp_driver=1" and boot, collect a dmesg.txt. There is no any audio related log in the #6.
