This error was reported by Huawei when they install 16.04 with Chinese Language. I can re-produce it via KVM virtual machine with BIOS (not UEFI) option as:
1. Create new KVM VM with BIOS
2. Boot Ubuntu 16.04.5 server ISO to begin install
3. Select "Chinese Language" in the first screen (grub menu)
4. Continue as normal install process
5. After partition was finished, it would show "can't install busybox-initramfs" on the screen
The error messages from console are:
Feb 14 01:02:56 in-target: unexpected error: command not executed: 'sh -c debconf-apt-progress --no-progress --logstderr -- apt-get -q -y --no-remove install busybox-initramfs' |
