Bug Description
I've bought 2 Dell U2414H screens and daisy chained them to my laptop using the mini display. I had to upgrade the kernel to 4.1.6 and Ubuntu to 15.04 before the daisy chain worked (mirrorring worked fine, but not extending).
So right now I disabled the laptop screen and am running 2 external screens. Sadly the 2nd screen (the one that is daisy chained) has screen tearing when I run it on the highest resolution (1920x1080). When I set it to 1600x900, it works fine. Obviously I really want to use a high resolution on this screen as well.

I have a Dell XPS 13 9360 Dev Edition laptop with external monitor chained through a USB-C adapter with DVI out. I experience screen tearing running DVD video on my external Samsung monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080.
I am currently running Ubuntu 17.04.
