Bug Description
I suspect many people use l-m-a because of unreliable connections, so they can see at a glance if their connection is up or not. It'd be very useful to have a (disabled by default) option in prefs to have l-m-a beep (or play a configurable sound) when a connection is established. I'd jump up and send/receive before it goes down again...
