Bug Description

The kernel included in the latest Ubuntu development image (http://releases.linaro.org/latest/ubuntu/oneiric-images/developer/linaro-o-developer-tar-20111219-0.tar.gz) doesn't include the USB ethernet gadget driver:

root@linaro-developer:~# uname -a
Linux linaro-developer 3.1.1-5-linaro-lt-omap #5~lt~ci~20111218011838+020210-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT Mon Dec 19 05: armv7l armv7l armv7l GNU/Linux
root@linaro-developer:~# sudo modprobe g_ether
FATAL: Module g_ether not found.

This applies to the 3.1.1-6-linaro-lt-omap kernel as well.

Where might this package be found?

Ricardo Salveti (rsalveti) wrote :

Unfortunately the new package is still failing to build, as you can check at https://code.launchpad.net/~linaro-maintainers/+recipe/linux-linaro-3.1-lt-omap-daily. There's a new build in the next few hours, hopefully it'll work fine.

It seems that the build yet again failed.
