Gator version mismatch on Panda 4460 Linux Linaro image.

On TI Panda 4460 board with Linux Linaro image:

Gator version doesn't match, please refer to attachment to get snapshot.

DS-5 version is v5.12 build 1571. Package "gator-module-dkms" can be installed successfully, but still can't solve this issue.

The error message attached to Comment #1 shows that the gator driver version is 5.10. This was the case for the 12.11 release (both the tilt-3.4 and llt trees).

The tilt-3.4 tree (http://git.linaro.org/gitweb?p=landing-teams/working/ti/kernel.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/tilt-3.4) has been upgraded (by merging linux-linaro-core-3.4) to gator 5.11 on Dec 06 (commit1bad36ba621ecccd458f14f78e8c06318ff50eba ). But this is still not enough.

Today in the llt tree I've replaced the 5.11 version of gator with the 5.12 (kind of temporary hack for 12.12):

After this change gets into the linaro-ubuntu build, the version mismatch should be gone. Though it would be better to have tilt-3.4 itself to move to Gator 5.12.

In the linux-linaro-core-3.4 tree, the gator driver has been updated to 5.12 last Friday, Dec 07. So the tilt-3.4 can pull the 5.12 from either

Andrey, I took the conflicting new content in linux-linaro-core-3.4 and merged it to tilt-3.4 along with the other small changes there elsewhere. I build-tested it and pushed it.

Thanks! I've updated the linux-linaro-tracking tree to use the current
tilt-3.4, the Gator driver included.
