Bug Description

On Panda 4430 board with Linaro ubuntu pre-built image:

With HDMI display port connected, after log out & log in with "ubuntu" option to enable Unity 3D, no output observed when run "es2gears" & "glmark2-es2" test. Here is serial console log output:

After the test, system UI hangs, except mouse pointer is alive. No response for clicking icons.
