Bug Description
I'm testing Ubuntu Desktop 11.04 LEB and found that packagekitd is running on my system.
AFAIK it's not really used by anything (I removed it and nothing complained or depended on it) and just takes up space and other resources.

how is that on it? is that cruft also available in ubuntu images? why do they include it? LEBs are distribution clones with linaro goodies on top. meaning, if ubuntu includes it explictely we should also include it. if we think thats not right in ubuntu, we should get it removed there first.
