Bug Description
Hi,
Searching cards by "alias card ID" in the quick search doesn't work; this is because the default is only to search summary, description and comments. Adding "Alias Card ID" ~ "GWG2012-
We should check whether we can customize the default quick search query and add alias card id to it.
This might be useful is we add larger custom fields in the future as well (e.g. Acceptance criteria, Close out etc.) and want these to be searchable.

Disappointingly, quick search doesn't allow searching custom fields?!

I think this bug refers to the fact that quicksearch takes special shortcuts such "my" for issues reported by the current user and that these shortcuts aren't linkable to custom fields, but I'd just want the default JQL to include "Alias Card ID ~ <search terms>" in the query...
