Following configurations need to be enabled for thermal solution to work on samsung origen boards.

The changes have been updated in the Origen kernel tree on g.l.o.

The current version of kernel image is 14. "linux-image-3.2.0-1000-origen=3.2.0-1000.0samsung14".
The kernel config has been updated in version 16. A new kernel image needs to be built and pushed to ppa.

This is for Ubuntu. (Ubuntu is using 3.2 kernel)

This configuration file has all thermal stuff mentioned by you.
if you use image from https://code.launchpad.net/~jcrigby/+recipe/linux-linaro-3.2-lt-origen-daily
it should work in Ubuntu.

For Android, Origen is using 3.0 kernel (did not provide thermal stuffs, ) will be released next month release.

Current Android kernel (3.0) does not provide thermal stuffs. the next release of Android will include those.
