Since the failures occurred when the jobs were started by timer, I made temporary changes to the Periodic build time and the jobs seems to be triggered properly and are continuing to build and are successful. Will keep watch on them to see if the problem persists.

The problem does not seem to appear anymore. I believe it was one of the cases. Hence closing this for now.
Reopen if the problem re occurs again.
