adb on panda and staging-panda hangs when device goes to suspend mode

adb hangs at when board goes to suspend.cable needs to be unplugged and plugged to get adb working.

Sorry what does stagiging-panda mean in terms of lt kernel branch at the moment?

In tilt-android-tracking since yesterday suspend is broken in same way as linux-linaro was doing to us, so we can't look at this until the reason for that is found.

I realise adb is critical but we probably also need to solve the issue about lost keyboard events on resume before fixing this is meaningful too. So removing the milestone just from those uncertainties not because I don't plan to address it.

Is this still the case on ICS? I see the other bug about adb needing a cable replug went away with ICS.

Over Christmas we identified a bug affecting cable plug detection, and added the fix to tracking. If it has been several days since it was tested it can be worth trying again.

this problem still exists on tracking-kernel-3.2.0-rc7 . Since suspend is broken the behavior can't be reproduced (which is after resume)

On a standard phone, if device suspends adb continues to work. will update with how it behaves on panda build with aosp kernel

Vishal which combination of rootfs build # and sgx libs are you testing with? As mentioned on the suspend bug, latest #132 rootfs doesn't seem to work with latest sgx libs which work on build #4.

The latest build #132 was based on 4.0.1 branch and hence did not work with the SGX binaries.

Here is the build https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~vishalbhoj/tracking-4.0.3/#build=5 with which sgx libraries work and even audio playback on lineout is working . Only issue which I see is with wallpapers (static wallpaper fail to load due to EGL BAD alloc and open GL LiveWallpaper crash in renderscript due to strict aliasing patch) , Now it is booting with Linaro wallpaper which is the default wallpaper.

I have now switched the official tracking-panda build to 4.0.3 and it should work with SGX libraries.
