Bug Description
During git and toolchain url normalisation, if no git or toolchain url was specified, we get an error message from readlink:
readlink: missing operand
Try `readlink --help' for more information.
Since it's valid to not specify a toolchain url, we should test for emptiness before passing to readlink.
