Bug Description
Building gcrypt ICEs:
basic.c: In function 'check_ctr_cipher':
basic.c:712:1: internal compiler error: in gen_reg_rtx, at emit-rtl.c:859
Turning off optimisation works round the issue.
It is fixed in this compiler patch:

This is fixed in Ubuntu Raring in gcc-4.7 4.7.2-5ubuntu7.
It's extant in the gcc-4.7 4.7.2-4 in Debian unstable
