Bug Description

Hi,

When attempting to play the video on:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/8796417.stm

I receive an error, the partial message is:

"about:block
"s.size <= 4096 b"

I believe I have attached the right SWF file.

With git master the video player loads and shows an image, the video does not play though.

With latest git the videoplayer loads, but it only shows a black square.

For me, BBC News/Weather videos say “You do not have the correct version of the flash player. Download the correct version”. Unfortunately, they consider the “correct” version to be the proprietary implementation. Is the only reason it won't work that they are checking for Adobe's version? Any way to get round this?

P.s. That's for Lightspark 0.7.1-1 on Raring.

P.p.s. Sorry, after realising that browser-plugin-lightspark isn't a recommended install of lightspark, and installing it, videos play flawlessly on the BBC website. The fullscreen button isn't working though.

browser-plugin-lightspark is hidden as a technical item in Ubuntu Software Centre, and is not listed as an ‘add-on’. It should be a recommended install, and listed as an ‘add-on’ in Ubuntu Software Centre. Recommended installs install by default on Ubuntu, so it would give the desirable effect of searching for and installing ‘Lightspark’, to have it just work in the browser.
