not rendering video

I'm trying to play youtube videos, the sound is ok, but instead of picture, there is a green rectangle
HW: HP Compaq nw8440, ati mobility fireGL v 5200
playing video with mplayer via OpenGL is working without problems...

Could you please also try the sample application from http://songho.ca/opengl/gl_pbo.html?

I suspect there is a bug in your drivers, you could also try the closed source drivers for comparison

Taking a deeper look at the glewinfo you seems to be actually missing pbos... report this (or the sample app) to the bug tracker of your driver as it's their issue.

glxinfo for Radeon X1650 Pro

Lightspark, a new free implementation of Adobe's flash format, requires driver support for the GL_ARB_pixel_buffer_object extension. The current radeon driver pulled from git doesn't seem to support it yet. Is there any chance of adding support?
I've attached glxinfo and glewinfo for my Radeon X1650 Pro.
