Refresh wheel is still running. It just doesn't stop running. Usually the animation is shown for like 2-3 seconds and Lightread refreshes its articles. But now no articles are updated and the wheel is still moving

A workarround is "Sign off" your account and then sign in again. Looks hard to reproduce

I'm using Lightread v 1.1.1 on Ubuntu 12.04 and the bug is still present.
Lightread can't sync. It was working for me before I updated to current version.

Same thing happening to me, though signing out and in again worked. I'd rather not have to do that every time things go wrong...

The problem occurred only yesterday for me although I have been using Lightread 1.1.1 (Ubuntu 12.04) for a while. Workaround works, though.

This only works when two-factor authentication is not enabled on Google account. I noticed that when you try to open Lightread for a while it takes almost forever to sync the feeds. The only way to update them is to Revoke Access of the application from Google Account 2-Factor Authentication setup and create another then login using the custom password.

I filed a bug report #1034240 but apparently it was marked as Won't Fix.
