Bug Description

Hi all,
On Debian Bookworm,
the parameter user-background = true is expected to display the user background on the login screen.

It doesn't display it.

Workaround : install gdm3 makes it working however it makes also unwanted changes on xfce

Root Cause :
lightdm depend on org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.background to be set at true
but the package that create daemon plugin is not in the dependencies of lightdm

Expected solution :
It would be fine to have the feature of user-background usable on xfce / Debian without having to install gdm3 while keeping lightdm as dm.
I thinks this is mainly due to some missing dependencies

Hi all,
this issue could be easily solved by adding "accountsservice" as Depends of "lightdm-gtk-greeter"
This is because on a xfce4 minimal install accountsservice is not used but some function of lightdm-gtk-greeter require it.
Regards
