We have home folder that is used by more linux distributions and sometimes .dmrc contains session, that doesn't exist on the Ubuntu machine. In this case lightdm says "unable to start session" and even if I later choose manually some different session from sessions menu, I cannot login with the same error message. I have to restart lightdm service to be able to login.
Note: when I choose session from the session menu before trying to login, it succeeds even if I have invalid option in .dmrc. |

In this case lightdm says "failed to start session" and even if I later choose manually some different session from sessions menu, I cannot login, I get error or it gets stuck with only background and cursor visible. I have to restart lightdm or computer to be able to login.
Note: when I choose session from the session menu before trying to login, it succeeds even if I have invalid option in .dmrc.
