Bug Description
whenever I reboot the lightdm display the mouse cursor but it doesn't show the login form. However if I type my password I login into my account. This hapens since I've moved to kubuntu 15.04 (upgrade from kubuntu 14.10). I've reinstalled lightdm and it keeps doing the same thing. Any ideas? Thkx, Pedro.

Hello, all.
I'm stroke by this exact same bug.
I can add that, when logged to this non-visible graphical session (in fact the framebuffer displays stale boot sequence text), I can type my password to login cause the field for the last user logged remains focused.
Then, I can move the visible mouse cursor. I move it to upper-right corner and co a left click. This unrolls blindly the power menu (still not visible). I strike keyboard up arrow once to activate the "Shutdown..." menu item, and then I strike Return and the shutdown sequence begins, and eventually, the computer shuts down in a few seconds.
Note: the User Interface has both keyboard focus and mouse focus, while not showing on screen.
Alternatively to trying to log into a blind session, I can switch VT and login as root and restart lightdm service (service lightdm restart) to gain this time a functional (displayed on screen) graphical session.
In hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Valentin
