I just got a report from the GNOME maintainers in Debian about lightdm-

From what I could dig, the following deprecated macros/variables are used:
- USE_COMMON_
- USE_GNOME2_MACROS
- GNOME_COMPILE_
- GNOME_CXX_WARNINGS
There are links in the downstream bug report on how to migrate those.
