Gnome-shell and ambiance theme icon issue

the ambiance theme works nicely in Gnome-Shell now after beta 2, and the unity icon theme 'Ubuntu-mono-dark' almost fits perfectly. The only issues I have found with the perfect implementation of the ubuntu icon theme in gnome-shell is the "Battery" icon is very very small, and the volume increase/decrease pop up is very pixelated. Is it possible to fix the icon theme or Gnome-shell to make these look nice? I am using Adawaita right now, just because those icons bug me. If they were to get fixed I could just use Ambiance for both my Gnome-Shell and Unity

I fixed the OSD-Problem somehow (for the first).

1. Make a directory /usr/share/icons/Humanity-Dark/status/scalable
2. Copy the content of /usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/status/ into this file
3. You need to edit /usr/shar/icons/Humanity-Dark/index.theme

put "status/scalable" to the end of the Directory-List

and

[status/scalable]
Context=Status
Size=16
MinSize=8
MaxSize=512
Type=Scalable

to the bottom of the index.theme file

Of course this uses the standard gnome icons

Thanks for publishing this fix! I only like to add, the standard icon theme in gnome-shell after an ubuntu installation is ubuntu-mono-dark and not Humanity-Dark, so you have to apply the fix on that folders.
And isn't the low res OSD volume icon the same issue in unity as well?
