Hey Johannes, I'm glad to see you like my work :D

Well, there's been some serious changes between GTK+ 3.0 (Oneiric) and GTK+ 3.4 (Precise). I'll probably need a week or so after Precise is released to update the themes.

Now that the default themes are very similar to the Evolved variations in Precise, I've got some new ideas to implement and hope you like them when I release the new themes :)

Please don't keep the division line in ambiance... it's ridiculous because it's so slight, that it communicates neither division or unity, it only makes the brain work slower to figure out what it's communicating.

Now in radiance, id still prefer no division line between window and toolbar, but at least the division line is very visually noticeable and the mind instantly sees as a divider. I really don't think it should be a divivder though because you can click and drag a window with blank space ont he toolbar like kde's oxygen has done for quite some time.

this is my 2 cents, but you are the mastermind so i have no place demanding anything

thanks again for great work.

Really glad to see this, the first thing I saw when I finally installed Precise was that the new GTK versions caused incompatibilities with the Light Themes Evolved package.

I'm looking forward to seeing what your new ideas will look like!

Have you thought about adding an elementary style bar to the bottom of Beatbox/Noise?

Victor Martinez (victored) wrote :

@ike: I agree with you. That division line is not necessary and I certainly won't add it. Thanks.

And yes, I plan to make the Granite (elementary widgets) integration a lot better on the Precise release.

First of all, thanks for all your work.

I am a huge fan of this package and must say that I'm missing a couple of the tweaks it offered since installing Precise. I particularly loved the dark inactive tabs and dark tab-bar background in gnome-terminal and obviously the dark sidebar for nautilus. Am looking forward for your Precise release.

I don't want to moan but are there any news on this one?
This theme has been the most beautiful for Oneiric and I'm really missing it in Precise. So please... :-)

Thanks Johannes. I've been busy lately working with the elementary OS guys, and thus I haven't given this project the priority it deserves. I have made some progress on a local branch though, and will probably start pushing my changes to trunk later this week, just to get some feedback from you as changes are introduced.

Again, thank you all for your support!

I want to announce that I no longer have time to work on this project because elementary and Noise Music Player are consuming all my free time. Plus, the elementary GTK+ theme looks and feels very professional, and I'm completely satisfied with it, to the point that I'm no longer motivated to keep working on this theme.

I'm sorry if I've disappointed you.

Have a nice day,
Victor.
