text becomes unreadable color white in Linux Mint's file manager BOX's new tab

Bug Description

Ambiance & Radiance Colors Theme:
opening Box file manager on Linux Mint with MATE 1.8.1 everything looks just fine!!!
after Ctrl+T (opening a new tab), the older one remains the same but the text of the icons on the new tab turns in an unreadable white!!! :-O

I am not sure why this is happening yet but it seems it was introduded in Mint 17.1 (Worked in 17)

Gonna see what can be done. In the mean time you can try dragging a backround color into the file manager backround under prefrecnes.
