Bug Description

The envelope in the indicator applet indicates new Liferea items even after I read them. It seems that it isn't updated in real time.

Reproducing this bug is quite easy for me. It nearly happens all the time.
When I start Liferea, it automatically polls all my feeds. The messaging menu still shows the number of unread items before polling. Then, I read some of the unread items. The messaging menu is still unchanged.
