Webp images not supported

Webp images are not supported. They don't show up in your entry, just like PNG or JPG images do. Would be a great help when it would be supported, since Chrome by default treats images as webp images nowadays. Very annoying that Chrome does that, but however, Chrome is one of the major browsers. Supporting webp images would also support Chrome better. Thank you, if this could be built in, would be super nice.

Thank you for the report. Webp is actually supported. The thing is, it is not included in the insert image file chooser filter. But you can select "all files" option to see and insert webp images. You can also dag & drop them into the text editor.

Strange, on my computer it does nothing. I can open webp images via the file chooser or drag them in the editor, and only the link to it appear, but not the image. Perhaps not the latest version is on Flathub? I run Lineograph using Flathub. Their installation method is very helpful for me, to run programs that way. Current version in Flathub is 2.0.3. However, not to go off-topic, but the screenshot with the beautiful font seems not to match with my version (I don't have that beautiful font).
