Bug Description

Currently the photos for users in an LDAP repository are imported when people login. It would be fantastic if there was an automatic LDAP sync process that did:

 - Create accounts with photos
 - Update photos from LDAP
 - Remove/disable accounts which are no longer in LDAP

Cheers!

Adding a cronjob to keep this in sync would be a very good idea indeed.

For photos coming from LDAP we could also run a face detection algorithm over them and resize the image to a certain size bigger than the detect face. See http://www.neuroforge.co.uk/index.php/face-detection-in-3-lines-of-code for an example of the face detection with Python using OpenCV.

Detecting faces is a brilliant idea worthy of a brand new bug report :)
