Bug Description
The encoding.js file is used to convert ucs2 <-> utf8 data, but it is highly suboptimal. There are routines to convert data faster and more clearly. The new file is attached (but probably it is better to get rid of it altogether).

Thanks again for your patch, I have removed the indeed suboptimal file and used the functions you wrote in the patch to handle the encoding.
