Bug Description

Version 0.5 from optware http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/cs05q3armel/cross/stable/libmms_0.5-1_arm.ipk

reports when recompiled with -DDEBUG (and some trivial fixes) that on this stream

mms://stream2.rbb-online.de/wmtencoder/radioeins-live.wma

it encounters an unknown GUID:

libmmsh: unknown GUID: 0x2012633, 0x668e, 0x11cf, { 0xa6, 0xd9, 0x0, 0xaa, 0x0, 0x62, 0xce, 0x6c }

and yes, the stream cannot be played

I've just tried this, and it works fine under Fedora (+ rpmfusion libmms packages). note that rpmfusion's libmms contains a whole bunch of libmms patches, done by me (one of the libmms devs). Since libmms was moved to launchpad I no longer have commit access. I've send my patches to Soren quite a while ago but they have yet to be applied.

Note: moving to launchpad did not completely play out as planned, as the current only active developer for this projects (me) prefers git over bzr libmms has moved back to sf.net.

This is fixed in the latest upstream release:
