So Bug #928696 ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/libmemcached/+bug/928696 ) isn't fixed. But I can't seem to re-open it, and comments to that effect seem to just go into the void, so I'm attempting to re-open this way. :)

Comment #9 ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/libmemcached/+bug/928696/comments/9 ) had a partial fix, but it only corrected the problem for "sets" and not "deletes" for us.
