i did not read all of the comments, and it is possible, that solution is already offered.
so, just in case it is not.
1. connect your camera
2. open dolphin
3. right-click on the Places panel
4. select Add Entry
5. if not autocompleted, type something for label (i typed 'camera' and type 'camera:/' for location
6. select an icon and enjoy
