Bug Description

The current libfreenect packages for Oneiric and Precise are based on code from 2010, according to the package names.

Please create packages for the current release 0.1.2 from 2012-01-18.

The package in Debian testing are up to date. Unfortunately they appeared just after the FeatureFreeze of Ubuntu precise. If you want precise get an up-to-date version, you have to request a sync (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SyncRequestProcess)
