For reproducing steps, see http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=69906.

$ export LD_PRELOAD=
$ ./explain_filename-t
(...testcase output...)
$ export LD_PRELOAD=$HOME/usr/lib/libeatmydata.so
$ ./explain_filename-t
1..22
Bail out! Signal 11 thrown

libeatmydata built from bzr, revno 86.

Current thinking is that it's more likely something like: http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=69653 or http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=65946 but I want to keep this bug open in case it's possible to identify why there's the behaviour change.
