Bug Description
So, this isn't exactly a bug but it's odd and it confused me.
The function drizzle_
takes a connection parameter `con` but it's not actually using it anywhere in the function.

My guess is that this function's signature is modeled on `mysql_ real_escape_ string( )`, which takes a connection parameter. Mysql's version seems to change its behavior based on the connection settings (charset).
