Bug Description

Investigate and implement bindings so that libcolumbus can be used from Python.

The selected method must support Python 3. It would be nice if it supported Python 2 as well, but it is not necessary.

Bindings for other languages would be nice as well.

Three systems I know of to allow this are Cython, SWIG and boost.python. From a quick search, all of them appear to support Python 3. Beyond that, I don't know any of them very well, although I have tweaked Cython code before.

They exist now. It's not complete by any means but should be usable.
