Bug Description
I've been trying to use custom icons (not from installed themes) in submenus of appindicator, but all my efforts have been fruitless so far. Documentation does say that I shouldn't use custom icon for appindicator icon itself (and there's even a workaround for it), but nothing is said about submenus, therefore this must be a bug.
I'm using Python. Setting stock icons for gtk.ImageMenuItem works fine, but all other ways of providing icons fail (starting from gtk.gdk.Pixbuf, gtk.Image and ending with setting default icons with gtk.IconFactory).
