cannot copy paste to terminal

when I select some command given by instructor with ctrl + c and then when i try to paste it in lernid termianl with ctrl + v it dont copy. it just shows ^V.
I tried with ctrl + shift +c and ctrl + shift + v. but no success. a screenshot is added.

This is not specific to the terminal in Lernid. This is the default behaviour of the Gnome Terminal. I'm sure you can do it by right clicking in the terminal area and selecting 'paste' on the menu.

This is specific to lernid terminal only.
In my gnome termianl I can copy paste with ctrl + shift v or right click
and paste.
Here in lernid terminal the shortcut ctrl + shfit + v is not working
as well as I can not right click in lernid termail at all.
After right clicking on lernid terminal nothing happends.

Thank you very much for the bug report. In Lernid 0.7 on natty I was able to copy from something in classroom using ctrl-c and then paste it in the terminal with shift-ctrl-v. Does it run differently in your system?

We probably ought to have Copy and Paste in the menu.

Are you having this problem with Lernid 0.8.5 (or alternativelyperhaps tidying up for us)?
