Leo 4.11 final custom hotkey can not work on 1st call

My ENV.:
Leo 4.11 final, build 5020, 2012-02-26 13:18:08 -0600
Python 2.7.1, qt version 4.8.0
darwin
setting leoID from os.getenv('USER'): 'zoomq'
load dir: /opt/bin/Leo-4.11-final/leo/core
global config dir: /opt/bin/Leo-4.11-final/leo/config
home dir: /Users/zoomq
reading settings in /opt/bin/Leo-4.11-final/leo/config/leoSettings.leo
docutils loaded
reading settings in /Users/zoomq/.leo/myLeoSettings.leo

custom hotkey as:
myLeoSettings.leo#@settings-->Keyboard shortcuts-->@keys EKR bindings-->@shortcuts Outline operations

delete-node = Ctrl-. #None

but as MAC OS X, usage Ctrl-. as Cmd-.
- each Leo file opended
- if usage hotkey in 1st , nothong happen
- need usage menue command first
- so custom horkey can working...
