Launchpad should give karma for changing the source package of a bug report

Bug Description

I've seen that LP gives karma when you mark a bug as a duplicate of another report. It should also give karma (yes, very low, but something) when you change the source package or a bug report.

That will greatly help to reduce the bugs reported against Ubuntu itself ;)

Good idea, but how would it reduce the bugs reported against Ubuntu itself? The only way karma could do that, that I can think of, would be if we gave more karma for a bug reported against a distribution package than for a bug reported against the distribution with no package.

Yes, that would be a good idea, but I say that LP should give karma just for change the package... so if I change this bug from launchpad to malone, it should give me some karma points (same for distros).

This would help because there would be some 'karma enthusiast' changing Ubuntu bugs without a package to the proper package.

It seems to me that karma record "Bug task created" is somehow related to this bug. But it looks like it's only happening with confirmed bugs. But I also want karma for assigning/changing packages for unconfirmed bugs :)
