"Reset to default" doesn't seem to do anything

Bug Description
I'm using the new custom bug listing feature, and I've customized what's displayed on lists to include tags and assignees, and to hide bug heat. So far, so good.
However, I wanted to get a default listing (partly so I could better file a bug about the default listing). I clicked the gear icon, get the "Visible information" dialog, and click "Reset to default". Nothing obvious happens for a little while then the dialog goes away. The bug listing doesn't change, and when I open up the "Visible information" dialog again it still has the same checkboxes set as before. (i.e. bug heat is off, assignee and tags are on).
I would expect the bug listing to update and the dialog to show checkboxes that match the default.
