Changing a bug summary sends e-mails showing odd diffs

Bug Description
Recently I've modified the summary of bug #871985 adding the "WORKAROUND:" line. I've been notified by Launchpad about this change, but the diff included shows changes that didn't happen. I've attached the whole e-mail for clarity.
As already stated, the only change I made was adding the WORKAROUND line, so the right lines of the diff are the first five. I've identified two kinds of sources for the "odd diffs":
1. Whitespaces removed at the end of the line. Examples: "see: http://...", "FirewallD is not running...".
2. Line breaks inserted in some paragraphs. Examples: "2) issue is more specific to...", "3) I expected the...".
There is also a third kind of false diff: at the bottom, the versions of the packages are diffed, but I can't find the reason.
