Bug Description
Launchpad unhelpfully emailed me that "Launchpad encountered an error during the following operation: generating the diff for a merge proposal. The source branch has pending writes."
Launchpad should have just requeued the job for later, only informing me and logging OOPS if the problem is persistent.
