2007-02-10 03:43:51 Solaris description The reason is unknown weather is related to after doing online update and installation of some application, or not.. the fact is after a few minute the upper and lower panel frizzed. Mouse could move but its click did not effect to any menu or icons on both 2 panels; there was not access to any application; killed X, restarted but after Gui login, no panel, icons, nothing but orange background. From Command line I did not find any command for gnome restore. I launched terminal failsafe and run command gnome-control-center; then click to run sessions , but I received following feedback: "**(gnome-session-properties:32023):CRITICAL **: gsm_protocol_new:assertion 'GNOME_CLIENT_CONNECTED (gnome_Client)' failed ** (gnome-session-properties:32023): WARNING **: Could not connect to gnome-session."
