Bug Description

In working through oneiric release targetted bugs, it appears I am no longer able to target bugs to series or assign bugs to specific teams to be reviewed. I need this capability to do my job.

In example bug, want to assign it to desktop experience team (as owners of package), and get it looked at for natty as well.

does let me set the release.

Where as:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/oneiric/+source/wncksync/+bug/829778

as per the screen shot, does not.

Can no longer set the team assignment in either case though..

I spent some time today trying to work out with Kate what's going on. It seems that it's only from series URLs that she's having problems. She can get work done by manually dropping the "oneiric" from the url and using the distro or source package view of the bug.

I've added this to the Orange Squad kanban board for someone to pick up as soon as is possible.

There's no launchpad.Driver or launchpad.BugSupervisor defined for ISourcePackage, so the view forbids it. This regressed in r13069 (2011-05-18). The initial permission changes were in r11775 (2010-10-21), but they correctly check for BugSupervisor/Driver on the DistroSeries, so are not implicated here.

The assignee issue is probably bug #829382 -- only affects beta testers, and should be fixed on prod in a couple of hours.

I've QA'ed this and things look fine in terms of everything working correctly in the standard case and being ok to deploy. I'm waiting to hear from Kate about if the her playing on qastaging confirms the bug is fixed for her.

I can't seem to reproduce the original bug on qastaging at this time, so am guessing its fixed.
