Translation: Please manage specifity of languages

Hello,

It is a wish which would simplify my life greatly (but I would understand a WONTFIX or WEDONTCAREATALLABOUTYOURPROBLEM).

There is some languages (like Scilab or ASP 2.0) where, to write a quote into a string, the quote must be doubled.

For example,
in PHP, I will have something like:
$myString = "I don't know";

but in some languages (like Scilab), I will write:
myString = "I don''t known"

I see two problems here with launchpad/rosetta.

1) Some translators are not very familiar with specificities of languages. They might think the double quote might just be a typo and remove it from the translated string.
This is bad since it breaks the execution since the string is badly formated.

=> Launchpad could detect, thanks to the location of the string in the comment, that it is Scilab/ASP code and therefor check the syntax

2) in the case there is no quote in the original template but quotes could be used into the localized string, the check should be also done.
