A YUI app server test might have helped detect bug 753249 earlier, or made it easier to diagnose.

lp:~allenap/launchpad/deriveDistroSeries-json-weirdness-bug-753249-windmill contains some very early work on this. I'm blocked on Firefox profile errors that prevent the test from running for me.
