Bug Description

Launchpad does not appear to track debian's security updates to its stable release. For example, examining the tmux package for all releases in debian at https://launchpad.net/debian/+source/tmux, we (currently) see packages available in unstable and stable. If we then drill down to stable, we are taken to https://launchpad.net/debian/squeeze/+source/tmux, which shows the current version of tmux in stable as 1.3-2. However, tmux has had a security update in the stable release; http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/tmux shows that the current version of tmux is 1.3-2+squeeze1, which doesn't appear to be tracked anywhere in launchpad.

This prevents requestsync from the ubuntu-dev-tools package from ever being able to request a sync from Debian's stable security update archive.

Note that I don't believe this is an out of date caching issue; or if it is, then it's seriously out of date, as based on the relevant Debian bug 620304, it looks like it got published on April 9th, 11 days ago.

security.debian.org is a separate archive. It would not take too much effort to import it into Debian's security pocket, if you really want it imported.
