Version for a package is not obvious on Distribution series source package page because of duplicated information

1. Go to a page like <https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/natty/+source/compiz>.
2. Find the version number of the latest version.

What you see: The version number is displayed in three separate places.
What you should see: The version number is displayed in one obvious place.

This could be achieved by merging the "Versions published", "{package} information", and "Releases in Ubuntu" sections into a single table, that starts with the latest version and works backwards:

    Version __ Uploaded __ Component __ Urgency __ Changelog __

This would also make it much easier to answer questions like "What changed in this package on February 17th", "How many uploads have there been in the past month", or "When did this package get promoted to Main".

Fixing this bug probably would fix bug 1063818 automatically.

Most would tend to use the "View full publishing history" link on https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz for that purpose.

The "Publishing history" page interleaves versions from multiple series, making my example questions harder to answer. But it could be generated using the same code, and so have (almost) the same columns in the same order.

Meanwhile, though, "use the publishing history page" would not be a fix for *this* bug, which is about the duplication of information. There may be other solutions to the bug.
