Bug Description
The machinery that retries requests due to DisconnectedErrors, IntegrityErrors and the like is not very well tested, allowing breakage like bug #724522 to slip through the test suite unnoticed.

This is true. OTOH we now exercise that code a lot, so this is at least something we know works today; marking low for now.
